Remains is a personal project inspired by early 2000s fashion campaigns and David Cronenberg’s Crash (1996), based on J. G. Ballard’s 1973 novel. In both the film and book, cars symbolize a fast-paced society obsessed with new technology, exploring how modernization shapes sexuality, emotions, and human connection. These ideas became the foundation for Remains, a fashion brand focused on what truly stays with you when fleeting trends and noise are stripped away, encouraging raw and authentic self expression. Sustainability is central to the concept, promoting garments chosen for personal meaning and longevity rather than seasonal trends. Pieces are designed to endure and remain relevant over time.
